How your ring is made
01By video or in New York City
The consultation
Tell us about the ring you picture, or let us help you discover it. Together we explore shape, carat weight, metal, and budget.
02Chosen by eye, certified by GIA or IGI
Your diamond
Two diamonds with the same grade can look entirely different in person. Our trained diamond experts look past the report and select the stones worth your attention, and you view each one in photographs, on video, or in person.
03From sketch to 3D CAD design
The design
We sketch your ring, then model it in CAD, refining the band, size, and the proportions around your diamond.
04Your ring in 3D
Your approval
Once you approve the 3D CAD designs, our master jewelers begin.
05Four to six weeks
The making
Our master jewelers cast your ring, set your diamond, and finish every surface to our standard and to your size.
06Overnight and fully insured
Delivered to you
Your ring ships from New York City with complimentary insured delivery, accompanied by your diamond’s report.

We stand behind our work and promise to deliver your ring in perfect condition. Should anything arrive less than perfect, write to us at hello@arca.nyc and we will make it right.
Resizing
We make your ring to your exact size. Should you ever need it, we can take it up or down one size.
Care and repairs
A ring worn every day will show the life it lives. Whenever yours needs attention, we offer repairs to restore it to its original beauty.
The wedding band
We keep your ring’s design on file, so we can make a wedding band to sit beside it.
What if I am still deciding what I want?
Many of our clients begin there, and our first consultation is designed for it. We show you shapes, settings, and diamonds side by side until your ring takes shape.
Can I see my diamond before I commit?
Yes. We send you photographs and videos of our curated diamonds, and you can also view them in person in New York City by appointment.
Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is carbon in the same crystal structure as a mined diamond. Whether you prefer lab-grown or natural, we respect your choice and guide you to the finest diamond of either kind.
Can I choose a blue, pink, or yellow diamond?
Yes. We craft engagement rings with white, blue, pink, and yellow diamonds, and colored diamonds are where our eye matters most.
Can you reset a stone I already own?
Yes. Send us a photograph and anything you know about the stone, and we will guide you through what is possible.
I am planning a surprise. How do we find the ring size?
We will guide you through finding it discreetly, and any size change before we begin crafting your ring is complimentary.
